A deep breath every so often is truly powerful. This is a sentiment I shared with those of you who joined my Spring into Wellness Challenge which just concluded. It’s so true, whether we are stressed, overwhelmed, wondering what’s next or lost in the shuffle of life, a deep breath can work wonders.
This month’s Bible study had this same theme. It led us to focus on God’s presence. Literally, taking a deep breath into being still and knowing God. We discussed the importance of knowing Him and taking those deep breath moments to set the tone for our days. Whenever I do this, God speaks to my soul. I have found new life paths, ideas, comfort, and inspiration when I am still and seek Him.
Whatever this day brings each of us, let’s make sure we are taking a deep breath into God. Let’s be still, seek, know and listen to Him. See how it impacts your life!
